Excellent coffee. Coffee Bean Direct Italian Roast Espresso is full bodied and complex. We use it in our drip coffee maker and in our chemex coffee pot. The drip version is comparable to a decent coffee house blend but this coffee reaches it's true potential with a chemex coffee pot or a french press.

I love the fact that they put the roast date on the pkg. I received these on Jan 6, They were roasted (349 12)--Dec 19. They are older than the others but still fresh enough to not bother roasting myself. This bag did come vacuum sealed the others didn't. Which probably helps to prevent the rancid taste you get from "store bought beans".
